Hot water restored at Cheyney University building

CHEYNEY, Pa. (FOX 29) - Hot water has been restored at the main dorm at Cheyney University after students went nearly a week without it.

Cheyney's president says crews worked through the night to restore hot water at the Learning and Living Center, also known as the LLC.

For the last week, students living in the dorm were forced to take cold showers.

School officials say a backup hot water heater will soon be installed at the LLC to prevent another mechanical failure.
