Hundreds of acres burned in South Jersey forest fire
BASS RIVER TOWNSHIP, NJ (WTXF/AP) - Firefighters are slowly getting the upper hand on a forest fire in Burlington County.
Crews were called to scene near Munion Field Road in Bass River Township at about 6:30pm Thursday.
Early Friday, officials told FOX 29 News more than 460 acres have burned and the fire is about 65 percent contained.
Luckily, no homes or businesses are in the line of this fire.
There is no word yet on the cause.
