Hundreds turn out for Autism Walk in Gloucester County

WEST DEPTFORD, N.J. (WTXF) - Hundreds of people turned out in Gloucester County to participate in the 12th Annual Autism Walk.

The walk was held at the RiverWinds Community Center in West Deptford.

Teams of people, supportive loved ones and friends walked to raise money to pay for programs for children with autism.

The fundraising goal for 2018 is $50,000.

Organizers say the money raised will stay in the Gloucester County area and directly benefits local families with special needs.
