Inspired Organics almond butter recalled due to listeria risk
WARREN, Mich. (FOX 5 NY) - Inspired Organics LLC is voluntarily recalling one lot of its organic almond butter after testing showed a risk of listeria contamination.
A week ago, the brand recalled one lot of its organic sunflower butter for the same reason.

However, infections in pregnant women can cause miscarriage, stillbirth, and more, according to the CDC, and infections in young children, frail or elderly people, and others with weakened immune systems can very serious and sometimes fatal.
The company sold the almond butter, distributed by Lipari Foods, to food-service and retail stores beginning on Oct. 31, 2018, in Florida, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Tennessee, West Virginia, and Wisconsin.
