Jalen Hurts has cleared the NFL's concussion protocol and will play on Sunday against the Packers in the first round of the playoffs, Nick Sirianni said Friday.

Hurts has not played since the Eagles' week 16 win over the Washington Commanders when he left the game after slamming his head against the turf.

"He's made it through the protocol," Sirianni said. "He's had a good week of practice, really good week."

In Hurts' absence, the Eagles torched the Cowboys in Dallas with Kenny Pickett under center.

Pickett injured his ribs in the win, allowing third stringer Tanner McKee to get his first career start in a 20-13 victory over the Giants.

The Eagles and Packers will square off in the first round of the NFL playoffs at 4:30 at The Linc.
