Lanes Reopen After Tractor Trailer Fire on Pa. Turnpike

All lanes have reopened on the Pa. Turnpike after a tractor trailer fire Tuesday afternoon.

The trailer was loaded with cardboard, according to officials. Crews spent the afternoon into the evening rush cleaning up the scene. The detour at exit #343 was lifted shortly before 8 p.m. Tuesday and all lanes were reopened on I-276 eastbound.

Command advised that all debris has been removed from the roadway at milepost 347.9 eastbound and the roadway is safe for travel.
