Little boy calls the police to stop the Grinch stealing his Christmas presents
(STORYFUL) - After watching Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas, a 5-year-old boy in Byram, Mississippi, was so afraid the Grinch would steal his Christmas presents that he called 911 to ensure the police would not let the dastardly deed to take place.
TyLon Pittman then told his mother about the phone call and before long, there was a knock on the door from police officers with nearby Byram Police Department.
TyLon and his family were greeted by Officer Develle, who told them she was responding to the boy's phone call and the boy then proceeded to show her YouTube clips of the Grinch in action. Thankfully, Develle assured the boy, "The Grinch is not going to come and steal your Christmas. I'm not going to let that happen."
The boy's older brother, TeDera Dwayne Graves II, captured videos of Develle's visit on December 17, and on December 18, he also shared videos of young TyLon's visit to Byram's police station, where he received assurances that the they would not let the Grinch upset his Christmas.
