Little League World Series star, Mo'ne Davis, selects college

Four years after she made history at the Little League World Series, Philadelphia native Mo'ne Davis is ready to take on college.

According to the Philadelphia Tribune, the 17-year-old will attend Hampton University in the fall of 2019.

Davis lead her South Philadelphia squad into the late stages of the 2014 Little League World Series. She became the first female in tournament history to record a win and pitch a shutout.

Davis plans to play softball at Hampton and will move from the pitchers mound to middle infield.

Davis was featured on the cover of Sports Illustrated and won an ESPY in 2015 for "Best Breakthrough Athlete" in 2015
