Little officer cruises in new car from sheriff's department

The Floyd County Sheriff's Department didn't let 3-year-old Cohen Chastain's tribute to a slain Polk County officer go unnoticed in Rome, Georgia.

The department honored Chastain with his very own Power Wheels police SUV complete with a Floyd County Sheriff logo. Video and photos posted to the department's Facebook page on October 24 show the boy, in his police officer uniform, giving his new wheels a spin with a big smile.

According to local media, Chastain stood at attention and saluted as the funeral procession of Polk County Police Detective Kristen Hearne came through Aragon, Georgia. Detective Hearne was shot and killed in the line of duty on September 29

After meeting with Cohen, the department posted "We wanted to bless Cohen for his selfless act of support and love, BUT, ONCE AGAIN, we were blessed by him beyond measure."
