Local cab driver encourages political venting inside his cab

Clinton and Trump yelling at each other isn't as unexpected but many of us are losing friends and even family members over political arguments. A former teacher and local cab driver wants us to stop yelling at each other and do the venting inside his cab.

"A lot of people have been angry and when they get in the taxi they're exhausted and frustrated about politics when they think about it."

If they agree, passengers in Rob's cab are recorded while they discuss all things politics. The videos are then posted to YouTube and on political blog Philadelphia Citizen in an attempt to get these messages out there.

Rob Connaire like many people admits he has strong opinions on a lot of different issues but was frustrated that most of us don't have the money or access to get our ideas out there.

"They don't feel like they have any kind of voice that matters. The only people who seem to have a voice are people with big checks in their hands for the politicians," said Rob.

Encouraging people to speak freely about sometimes controversial topics may not seem like the standard form of community service but Rob isn't exactly a standard guy so its his form.

"To the extent that politicab gives people a voice or feels like they have an opportunity to think about or talk about politics. I think it is a public service," Rob explained.

So the message of politicab is to express yourself' speak freely, know that your opinions matter and after all of the venting and talking for goodness sake on Tuesday VOTE!
