Local fast-food workers strike, demand living wage on Labor Day

PHILADELPHIA, PA (WTXF) - Fast-food workers are taking action in Philadelphia, uniting with other underpaid workers nationwide to demand a strong union.

They're fed up with lawmakers who have blocked minimum wage increases and union rights. And they are fighting for a $15 minimum wage.

The initiative launches today, on Labor Day, with strikes and protests expected across the country.
