Lockdown lifted at Edison High School after reports of armed suspect

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A lockdown has been lifted at a North Philadelphia high school after reports that a suspect was seen in the bathroom with a gun.

Officers responded to Edison High School on West Luzerne Street around 10 a.m.

The school was placed on lockdown while officers searched the school.

Police cleared the scene around 10:30 a.m.
