Looking for clues after triple shooting killed 1, wounded 2

Three young friends were shot - one of them killed - while sitting at a busy Germantown street.

Police say they were called to the 1300 block of E. Johnson Street before 8pm Monday.

They found the victims in the courtyard at the Johnson Court Apartments, though none of them lived there.

Each was shot once at close range.

The 22-year-old, shot in the face, died in the hospital.

The 20-year-old, shot in his leg, is listed in stable condition.

And the 18-year-old, shot in his arm, was taken to the hospital by a private vehicle. He is also in stable condition.

Philadelphia police are still trying to determine how any gunmen there were. There were also two calibers, so that means there were either two guns used or two gunmen.

They also don't know who the intended target was, but they're interviewing the survivors.

Seven spent shell casings were found at close range.

Police are hoping surveillance video will help answer some questions.

No weapons have been found, there is no known motive and no arrests have been made.
