Man, 26, killed overnight in motorcycle crash in South Philly

PHILADELPHIA, Pa. (WTXF) - Police are investigating after a motorcyclist died in an overnight crash in South Philadelphia.

The crash took place just before midnight on Friday, October 20 on I-95 near the Walt Whitman Bridge.

Police say the 26-year-old man from Media was speeding when he hit a guardrail and was thrown from the bike.

The man was taken to Hahnemann University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
