Man, 26, stabbed in the neck in North Philadelphia is critical
NORTH PHILADELPHIA (FOX 29) - A 26-year-old man is critical after he was stabbed in the neck in North Philadelphia.
Authorities say the victim was on the 2700 block of North Hemberger Street Monday, about 11 a.m.
The man was reportedly fighting with an unknown man when he was stabbed in the neck and stabbed again in the back, according to investigators.
The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital and is listed in critical condition.
The suspect took off, fleeing south on Hemberger Street and then west on Lehigh Avenue.
Police say the suspect is between 30-40-years-old. He was wearing a white t-shirt with a "Captain Louie Jr." logo, dark pants, prescription glasses and had yellow caution tape attached to his waistline.
