Man, 34, arrested after alleged shooting spree, carjacking in NJ

Authorities arrested 34-year-old Cedrick Hodges for allegedly holding a woman at gunpoint Saturday night, taking her car and later shooting a man during a fight.

The carjacking victim says he carried a sawed-off shotgun, jumped into the car and demanded it.

While police were investigating the scene on the 2300 block of South Broad Street in Hamilton Township, N.J., an officer witnessed a fight between two men and found one fit the description of the alleged carjacker. He was also reportedly holding a sawed off shotgun.

The other man in the fight suffered a gunshot wound to the arm.

After a short chase on foot, authorities arrested Hodges.
