Bensalem, PA - (WTXF)- According to investigators, Shane McMichael" broke into the house on Forrest Avenue in Bensalem Sunday night.
He was dressed in a black a wearing a mask. Police say, he hit a juvenile female and began to choke her.
The victim recognized the subject and called him by name, at which point McMichael stopped the attack.
Police responded to the residence of McMichael where they located a gold Jeep in the driveway. In plain view in the vehicle officers observed a rifle, black clothing and black rope.
McMichael was taken into custody where he was interviewed and confessed to the incident. He was charged with Kidnapping, False Imprisonment, Assault, Burglary, Trespass and various other charges
McMichael was arraigned by Judge Joseph Falcone at 4:00 AM and remanded to Bucks County prison in lieu of $2 million dollars.
