Man arrested on charges of stalking and numerous weapons charges in Elsmere

A man has been arrested in Elsmere on charges of stalking and possession of weapons.

On Thursday, Elsmere Police officers were approached by a town resident who asked to be accompanied to his home on the 2700 block of Eastwood Drive. He asked to be escorted due to recent threats made against him as a result of a relationship he was currently having with a mutual person.

When they arrived at the home, police found 44-year-old Brian Glass from Claymont, Delaware in the back of the home.

Glass was dressed in all black and armed with a 9mm handgun, an ASP baton, two pairs of brass knuckles, five knives, tactical gloves, tactical flashlights, and binoculars.

He was taken into custody without incident and his vehicle was located nearby. Inside, police were able to observe an open book bag which contained rope and what appeared to be a black handgun.

A search warrant was executed on the vehicle and officers found a stun gun, a samurai sword, two pellet/soft air guns, duct tape, rope, several more flash lights and knives along with binoculars and more rounds of ammunition.

Glass has been charged with stalking while in possession of a deadly weapon, terroristic threatening, loitering (night prowling), criminal trespass 3rd, degree, possession of a weapon during the commission of a felony x 6, possession of a firearm during the commission of a felony, carrying a concealed deadly weapon x 6.
