Man charged in deadly shooting of woman in South Philadelphia
PHILADELPHIA - A man is facing murder charges for the shooting death of a woman that unfolded over the weekend at a house in South Philadelphia.
Zakiyy Bonds, 28, allegedly shot and killed 28-year-old Amira Harper inside a home on the 2600 block of Latona Street on Saturday night.

Officers from the were called to a residence on the 2600 block of Latona Street in South Philadelphia on Saturday for reports of a shooting.
Police found 28-year-old Amira Harper suffering from multiple gunshot wounds. She was taken to Penn Presbyterian Hospital and pronounced dead.
Investigators on Monday announced the arrest of Zakiyy Bonds, 28, in the murder of Harper.
He has been charged with murder, possession of an instrument of crime, recklessly endangering another person, and related charges.
