Man critical after shooting in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A young man is in critical condition following a shooting in North Philadelphia Thursday morning.

The shooting occurred near 18 th Street and Susquehanna Avenue around 9:50 a.m.

Police say a man between the ages of 18 and 25 was shot 1 time in the chest. He was transported by a private car to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition.

Investigators have not recovered a weapon, and no arrests have been made at this time.
