Man critical after shooting outside Olney club

OLNEY (WTXF) - A man is in critical condition following an early morning shooting outside of a nightclub in Philadelphia's Olney neighborhood.

The shooting occurred early Saturday morning around 3 a.m. outside of Feltonville Dance Hall.

Police say the victim was involved in some sort of dispute with another man, and the second man later opened fire on the victim from insde of a vehicle.

The victim was struck at least two times, and tried to make his way back towards the entrance of the club. That's when police say a friend of the victim returned fire, but his gun jammed, causing him to drop the gun and flee the scene.

The vehicle then sped off, and was last seen heading south on Rising Sun Avenue. The victim was transported to Temple University Hospital in critical condition.

No arrests have been made.
