Man critically wounded in Lawncrest shooting

LAWNCREST (WTXF) - Philadelphia Police are investigating a shooting that left one man in critical condition in Lawncrest.

The incident occurred on the 5400 block of Howland Street around 11:35 p.m. Monday night.

According to police, a 28-year-old man was shot in the back while getting into a car. He is in critical condition at Einstein Medical Center.

A 37-year-old woman has been taken into custody in connection to the shooting.
