Man dies after being shot multiple times in North Philadelphia

NORTH PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Philadelphia police are looking for suspects after a man was shot and killed in North Philadelphia overnight.

The shooting happened on the 2700 block of North 15th Street just after 12:30 a.m. Friday morning.

Investigators say the victim, who was in his mid-30s, was shot multiple times in the chest, stomach and backside. He was taken to Temple University Hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.

There is no word on any suspects or arrests at this time, but police say they are hoping nearby surveillance footage can provide them with more information.
