Man dies after suffering multiple gunshot wounds in East Oak Lane

A man was killed after being shot multiple times in East Oak Lane overnight.

The incident occurred on the 6700 block of N. 11 th Street around 2:30 a.m.

Police responded to reports of gun shots in the area and found a 28-year-old male lying in the street suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, one to the head and about five to the upper torso.

He was unconscious.

The victim was rushed to Einstein Hospital where he was pronounced at 2:51 a.m.

At least five shots were fired and shell casings were inches away from the victim in the street.

No motive for the shooter has been found yet, and there are no descriptions available of the shooter at this time.
