Man found shot multiple times outside Fern Rock SEPTA station

FERN ROCK (WTXF) - A man is in critical condition after he was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds outside of a SEPTA train station.

Police responded to the Fern Rock Station on the near North 11th Street and Grange Avenue around 1:30 a.m. Thursday morning.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a 32-year-old man lying on the ground outside of the station suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, back, and leg. He was taken to the hospital where he was listed in critical condition.

Investigators say there was no blood or ballistic evidence found near the victim.

Police are checking footage from nearby surveillance cameras as their investigation continues.
