Man in custody after barricade situation in Nicetown

NICETOWN (WTXF) - A man is in custody following an early morning barricade situation in Nicetown, where police say he fired a gun inside his home with a 2-year-old inside.

Officers responded to the scene on Roberts Avenue around 4 a.m. Wednesday. Police say the man, who was intoxicated and firing his weapon, came out of the home in under an hour.

The man's 41-year-old girlfriend and 2-year-old daughter were inside the home at the time of the shooting.

No injuries have been reported.
