Man injured in Strawberry Mansion shooting

STRAWBERRY MANSION (AP/WTXF) - A man is recovering at Temple University Hospital after he was shot in Strawberry Mansion Sunday night.

The shooting took place at the intersection of Dauphin and North 29th Streets around midnight.

Police say the victim, a man in his 40s,was leaving a takeout restaurant when he was shot in the leg. Police say the man was able to get into a car and drive away before he was stopped by police and taken to the hospital

The victim is in stable condition.

No arrests have been made at this time.
