Man killed after being shot multiple times in Strawberry Mansion

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WTXF) - A man was killed after being shot multiple times in the Strawberry Mansion section of Philadelphia overnight.

The incident occurred on the 2500 block of N. Marston Street just before 2 a.m.

A man in his 40s was shot multiple times and pronounced on scene.

According to Captain Nicholas Brown, at approximately 1:57 a.m. officers responded to multiple calls for a person with a gun and gunshots on the highway.

When they arrived, the victim was down on the highway suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the head and torso.

Medics pronounced the victim on scene.

There were at least seven shell casings on scene, and a semi-automatic weapon was used.

Police believe that one surveillance camera may have caught the incident.

No suspect descriptions or motive at this time.
