Man killed, child injured in Gloucester Co. fire
BLACKWOOD, N.J. (WTXF) - One person has died and two others are injured following an apartment fire in Gloucester County.
Crews responded to the fire around 2:30 a.m. on Sunday, with most of the fire contained to one second-floor apartment on the 200 block of Washington Avenue in Blackwood, N.J.
Police confirm a man was the one killed in the early morning fire, with a child among the injured. The child was taken to St. Christopher's Hospital. The other surviving victim was transported to Cooper University Hospital. No word yet on their injuries.
Officials are still investigating the cause of the fire.
