Man recovering after he was shot in the face

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A 26-year-old man is recovering after he was shot in the face, overnight.

Police in in Southwest Philadelphia say it happened before midnight in the 6200 block of Dickens Avenue.

The victim is in stable condition.

According to police, the man was dropped off at the hospital in a private vehicle, and there is no word on a suspect or motive at this time.
