Man shot in the head in Southwest Philadelphia

SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A man is in critical condition Sunday morning after being shot in the head and chest in Southwest Philadelphia.

Police say the shooting took place near South 54th Street and Paschall Avenue around 3 a.m.

Witnesses tell FOX 29 that they heard three shots ring out around that time.

Police are hoping that nearby security cameras may help in the investigation.
