Man shot multiple times, hit in both legs over a woman

EAST MOUNT AIRY (WTXF) - A man is recovering after he was shot several times overnight, during what should've been a party at an East Mount Airy home.

Police say they got called to the hospital and the 28-year-old victim told them -- before he was taken to the operating room -- he got into a dispute with a man he didn't know over a woman, and then went outside and got into a fight.

This was after midnight Sunday, outside a home on the 8000 block of Mansfield Street.

The victim was suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to both legs.

The gunman got away.
