Man shot while delivering pizza in East Mount Airy

OLNEY (WTXF) - A 55-year-old man is recovering after being shot while working as a pizza delivery driver.

Police in Olney were called to the 2100 block of West Olney Avenue Saturday, just before 7:30 p.m. on the report of a shooting.

Police arrived to find a 55-year-old man had been shot. The shooting occurred while he was delivering a pizza on the 6400 block of Clearview Street in East Mount Airy. Investigators say the man then drove himself to his place of business on West Olney Avenue.

Police transported the man to Einstein Medical Center where he was listed in stable condition.

Authorities say the investigation is ongoing. No weapons have been recovered and no arrests have been made.
