Man struck, killed by car on Kelly Drive

FAIRMOUNT (WTXF) - Police are investigating a fatal crash that left a pedestrian dead in the city's Fairmount neighborhood.

The incident occurred around 9:42 a.m. in the area of Kelly Drive and Brewery Hill Drive.

Investigators say an unidentified male in his 60s or 70s was struck by silver Subaru as he crossed the Northbound lanes of Kelly Drive.

The victim was transported to Hahnemann Hospital by medics, but succumbed to his injuries a short time later.

Kelly drive was closed from Fountain Green Drive to Lemon Hill Drive.

No arrests have been made at this time.
