Man wanted for assaulting, robbing woman in Center City

A woman was violently attacked on an Old City street and police are hoping you can identify him, so they can catch him.

They say it happened back on Nov. 29 at 2:25am.

The victim, 50, was walking on the 300 block of Walnut Street when she was approached from behind by an unknown male who grabbed her tote bag.

Then, when she turned around, they say "She was punched in the left side of her face by the suspect who took her bag containing a wallet, identification, credit cards, necklace, and an iPhone 6."

The suspect is described as between 30 and 45 years old, 5'9" tall, weighing 140-150 lbs., with a light complexion.

He was wearing a blue flannel jacket and a black leather cap.
