Mercer County Clerk warns of email scam

Mercer County, New Jersey officials have urged residents to be vigilant of an email scam after Mercer County Clerk, Paula Sollami-Covello, had her personal and private emails hacked.

In a press release, Sollami-Covello, warned of fraudulent invoices that request payment that have been sent from the clerk's email addresses. Such requests should not be honored.

Mercer County's Cyber Crimes Unit is currently investigating this scam.
