More than 100 dogs rescued from home in Miami

More than 100 dogs were rescued after they were called to a residence in Miami.

The Miami-Dade Animal Services Humane Animal Response Team said they rescued more than 100 Shih-tzu and Pekingese dogs Monday. They did not release information about what led them to the home because officials are investigating.

The department said the dogs were transported to Animal Services for treatment and they are working to find homes for the dogs.

They were put up for adoption on Friday and are available at the Pet Adoption and Protection Center in Doral, Florida.
