Morning rain over, afternoon storms coming

We had scattered downpours overnight and it has moved off the Jersey coast, but the rain isn't over yet.

Weather Authority Meteorologist Dave Warren reported the wet weather will continue through mid-morning when a slow-moving disturbance finally moves moving through and takes all the rain with it.

That rain is even blamed for collapsing the roof of a boarding house and forcing five people to evacuate.

We'll get a short break in the middle of the day and maybe even see the sun.

Then, a line of strong storms with gusty winds or possibly hail will move in. The storms may even be severe.

That line is expected to pass through the western suburbs 4-5pm, Philadelphia 7-8pm, and the coast 9-10pm.

But it'll be all clear by Wednesday.
