NJ hot dog stand crushed in crash; owner hospitalized
BERKELEY TOWNSHIP, N.J. (AP/WTXF) - Authorities say an SUV crashed into a popular roadside hot dog stand in South Jersey, injuring the stand's owner.
The crash occurred shortly after 8 a.m. Monday at the Wunder Wiener stand on Route 9 south in Berkeley Township.
The stand's owner was airlifted to a hospital, but further details on his injuries have not been disclosed.
The collision also took out a utility pole.
It is not yet clear if charges will be filed in the incident.
