NJ man arrested for seafood thefts

Police in Egg Harbor Township, N.J., have arrested a man who they say shoplifted seafood on multiple occasions in January, including several times at the same Shoprite store within a two-week period.

According to the Egg Harbor Police Department Facebook page, Kevin Boyle, 29, was arrested Saturday after a loss prevention officer caught him attempting to leave the store with $271.82 worth of seafood for which he hadn't paid.

After he was taken into custody, Boyle was charged both with that theft and with "similar incidents" at the same store on January 17 th and 19 th , as well as another theft at JR's Market on the 29 th .

Bail was set at $8,000.
