NJ Window Business Owner Indicted

A grand jury in Camden County last week issued a 64-count indictment against Firas Emachah, owner and CEO of West Berlin-based Dream House Windows, Inc. Emachah is accused of stealing thousands of dollars from dozens of customers in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey.

The indictment, prosecutors said, includes 46 counts of theft by deception, 17 counts of bad checks and one count of theft by failure to make required disposition of property received.

Emachah, 42, is accused of taking $200,000 in deposits from customers for work that he knew would not be done. Emachah is also accused of writing bad checks to avoid payments for cancelled work. He is also accused of writing fraudulent checks to subcontractors, supply companies and government agencies.

No one associated with the company other than Emachah is charged with anything.
