North Philadelphia stabbing leaves one man critical

Police in Philadelphia are investigating after a stabbing leaves one man in critical condition in North Philadelphia.

Officials say police were called to the 2300 block of Sharswood Street Sunday just before 4 a.m.

Upon arrival, police found one 35-year-old man stabbed once in the shoulder and once in the upper abdomen.

The man was transported by a private vehicle to Penn Medicine. The man was then airlifted to Penn Presbyterian Trauma where he was listed in critical condition.

Police say the investigation is ongoing. No arrests have been made, though two weapons were recovered.
