Officials: Arson suspect sought in 3-alarm fire in Southwest Philadelphia
SOUTHWEST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - Authorities are investigating after they say a man set fire inside a Southwest Philadelphia recycling company.
Crews responded to the three-alarm fire at Gold Medal Environmental Recycling on the 1600 block of South 49th Street on Dec. 23.
After the fire was put under control, officials were able to recover surveillance video which depicted an unknown man setting the fire.
The suspected arsonist is described as a white man who was wearing a black hat, black jacket and black pants. He was reportedly carrying a crowbar with him and walked with a limp.
There were no injuries reported.
