Officials: Man, woman and dog killed in Maple Shade house fire
MAPLE SHADE, N.J. (FOX 29) - Officials say a man and woman died in a house fire on the 200 block of Bailey Avenue in Maple Shade, New Jersey.
It happened around 9:30 a.m. Tuesday.
According to officials, 81-year-old William Hewlett died at the fire scene. His wife, 79-year-old Davine Hewlitt was taken to Jefferson Cherry Hill Hospital, where she succumbed to her injuries Saturday.
The family's dog did not survive.
No word on the cause of the fire. The investigating is ongoing.
