Officials Seek Person Who Threw Dog From Moving Car On Busy Street
(INSIDE EDITION)- A $2,000 reward is being offered for information about a poor dog that was thrown from a moving vehicle and then hit by another car as it chased its owner down a busy street.
New York's Suffolk County SPCA says the tan-and-yellow pup was tossed from the passenger window of Jeep Grand Cherokee on Jerusalem Hollow Road in Long Island last week.
The male dog reportedly ran around to the driver's side and tried to get back in, but was pushed away by the person behind the wheel.
The pooch suffered only bruises and scrapes and is doing well.
Anyone with information is asked to contact the Suffolk County SPCA.
