One dead after early morning multi-vehicle accident in Mayfair

PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - One woman is dead after a multi-vehicle accident in Philadelphia's Mayfair section.

Police say three cars were involved in the crash on Roosevelt Boulevard and Tyson Avenue just before seven am April 8. Five people were injured.

The female victim was pronounced dead at the crash site. A 34-year-old male and a 62-year-old male were both transported to Aria-Torresdale Hospital for more serious injuries. Police say those men are expected to recover. Two others were treated for minor injuries at the sight.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the accident.
