Overnight fire destroys rowhome

STRAWBERRY MANSION (WTXF) - A home in the city's Strawberry Mansion section is destroyed by an overnight fire.

The fire started after 2am along the 2700 block of N. Newkirk Street.

Firefighters arrived to find heavy flames pouring out, especially from the first floor of the rowhome.

They were able to get it under control in just about 18 minutes.

They're been initial reports of people trapped, but no injuries were reported.
