Pa. mom shares message about the importance of car seats
Lancaster, Pa. (WTXF) - A Pennsylvania mom shared a photo on Facebook of her mangled Honda CRV and two undamaged car seats that protected her sons during a crash.
According to Jenna Casado Rabberman, she and her nearly 3-year-old and 6-week-old sons were on their way home from pre-school, just minutes away from home, when they stopped for milk. That's when another car slammed into them. Thankfully, they escaped without a scratch, but the paramedics told her that it would have been very different if she didn't take the extra 2 minutes to buckle them correctly.
The Facebook post reads in part:
"My boys escaped without a scratch but the paramedics told me it could have been very different had I not taken the extra 2 minutes to be sure they were buckled correctly. I will be fine, my kids are fine, everything else can be replaced. Sending thanks to God for keeping us safe (along with Honda, Graco & Chicco)."
