Pedestrian, 32, critical after hit by SUV on Roosevelt Blvd.

NORTHEAST PHILADELPHIA (WTXF) - A man crossing a busy street didn't make it to the other side. That 32-year-old pedestrian was hit by an SUV and rushed to the hospital, and is now in critical condition.

SKYFOX was over the scene in the 9400 block of E. Roosevelt Boulevard. This is the outer drive near Grant Avenue.

The accident happened on the northbound side at about 6:30am. Police said the victim was crossing the Boulevard from the west to the east when he was hit by a 1999 white Ford Explorer driven by a 62-year-old man.

Police say the victim is now in critical condition and the driver has not been arrested.
