Pedestrian struck and killed in Pemberton, NJ

Police are investigating a motor vehicle collision that killed a pedestrian in Pemberton, NJ.

The accident happened around 11:30 p.m. on Friday night near Pemberton Bypass and Shady Lane.

Preliminary investigation revealed that Jeanette Luna who was parked off the roadway on the Pemberton Bypass, exited her vehicle and walked into the west bound side of the roadway. As Ms. Luna entered the roadway, she was struck by multiple vehicles.

All vehicles remained on scene and drivers were identified.

One of the drivers were transported to the Lourdes Hospital in Willingboro, NJ for minor injuries. There were no other injuries reported.

Investigation revealed that all occupants were wearing their seatbelts at the time of the collision. No arrests have been made.
